What a disappointing experience - based on the great Google reviews my husband and I came to R Beach expecting to eat some great food. Unfortunately that’s not the experience we had.I ordered the Hunky Chunk fish sandwich and upgraded to sweet potato fries. My husband got the burger and fries. My fish was rubbery and didn’t have any taste. I ate it because I was hungry. The sweet potato fries were so over fried I couldn’t eat them. Since there wasn’t anything good about my meal, I informed the waitress the sweet potato fries were terrible. She offered to bring regular fries, but still charged us the up charge. My husbands burger was average at best. Neither of us left satisfied with our meal. To me, there’s nothing worse than leaving a restaurant dissatisfied with your food. The upside is we’re from out of town and will never come here again.

We had my son's confirmation celebartion here. It was planned last minute and needed a party set up. Tamara did a great job with everything. Food was excellent and service was 100% We couldn't be more happy with everything. The friend shrimp and steak dinner was amazing!! I highly recommend R Beach for your dinning and party needs.

Let me tell you about RBeach, I love this place. We went for Valentine's Day and had the most amazing dinner. Prime Rib for me & Chicken Marsala for my honey. Both were cooked to perfection. We have been many times to dance the night away. We have always had a great time here. The food, drinks & crew are top notch. If you haven't been it is worth the drive out. Lynn

The fried fish is outstanding.

Food was ok at best. Screwed up our order. Completely forgot our appetizer. Forgot our drinks. 3 shrimp on my dinner plate. Complained about the shrimp so they brought me one more. Loud as hell in there

Great food, great menu selection..everything from burgers to fully loaded seafood pasta dishes. Entertainment from bands to DJ dance nights. Full liquor bar. Highly recommended stop out here on the beach!

We are New to Hernando Beach and we where talking to our Locksmith and he Suggested R BEACH we are so happy he did Great Food and Great Service very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back again & Again the Pasta and Chicken are Great by the way

We went to listen to live music there and enjoyed our visit! Great Mussels! Be sure to bring a sweater if you sit on the patio, it was way too cold for all of our party. Great place for relaxing. A bit of a wait, if you try a dish you don't like, come back and keep trying. I enjoy a few favorites but had to go a few times to find my taste niche :).

Five star all the way!! Incredible food, not a bad item on the menu. Staff is SO enthusiastic, ambiance and decor is fun. Live music and comedy is a bonus. Every table filled by 7pm.

Company Christmas party, great food and atmosphere!

Didn't see the whole restaurant as we had a separate area for a party. Food was good. Mixed drinks were good, not watered down. Looked nice from what I saw. Everything was paid for so I don't know about their prices.

Well prepared, locally sourced seafood entrees. The Pina colada slaw is tasty and unique. Shrimp are large, scallops decent, and the cod portion gigantic. The sauce on the grouper was too lemony for my taste and masked the flavor of the fish.

Food was phenomenal. We had gone in a few weeks ago and had a terrible experience. So the manager asked us to come back and see how we liked it. So we did, but did not tell the wait staff who we were. We had a very attentive wait server and the food was excellent. The best mussels I have ever had. The onion straws were on point as well. Could have used more dipping sauce, lol. The burgers were HUGE. Perfectly cooked and the grilled onions were awesome. Had to bring half the food home. It was that much food. Once we ate we asked for the manager and explained who we were. They comped the entire meal. That was a total bonus. Will go back again. They had a total redemption from us.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal and great music. Derek and Dynamite(Leo) was the band. Waitresses could not have been better. Very attentive. Highly recommend this place for a entertainment and dinner.

I haven’t been to R-Beach since I was 15. I’m now 21 and decided to make a revisit after all these years and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is awesome and the food is unlike any other. Freaking Awesome! Will definitely be a regular from here out

My husband and I went there for comedy night and had a ball. Great service, great shows and awesome food.

Very good food. Friendly service. Entertaining live music. Unfortunately it took way too long for the food to come out. It was worth waiting for though.

The food came out not hot at all and very overly greasy. My husbands sandwich came out then I had to wait because the food was put in at different times so we didn’t even eat together. Had to ask for refills multiple times and bbq sauce. No teamwork with the servers. I noticed the girls more worried about what they looked like rather than giving excellent service. In my opinion wearing short shorts is very unprofessional and if you want to be a restaurant that should not be the dress code.If you want to be more like a trash bar then so be it. Highly doubt we will ever go eat here again. Would not recommend for people with children or trying to enjoy a peaceful dinner.

Food was OK. Service seemed a little slow even though the place was almost empty. We were very disappointed because live oldies music is advertised on website, but when we got there we were told they don't bother in Nov and Dec because of the holidays! Kind of a rip off.

Service was awesome. Food was great...We ate outside by the water, not a lot of activity out there today but the kids got to see an alligator and a turtle. Portions were just the right size.

Good food and huge portions! I got the El Greco pasta with shrimp. Very surprised that it was creamy but flavorful. My boyfriend for the Boom Boom chicken and it was delicious. A little pricey but the portion size makes up for it.

Sat down waited little over 35 minutes, and didnt even get our drinks so we walked out, really slow place cant even say if the food was good or not
